Save the rain gardens

With well over 200 rain gardens and a riverbed bookended by reserves, this project had been stuck in limbo for quite some time when we got the call. Our team went through meticulously raking, grading and hand weeding each rain garden, trimming and reshaping the grasses and planting until all 200+ were in tip top shape. Over several visits, the grass berms, which were initially between knee and waist height were slowly brought down and sculpted back into a desirable lawn at a manageable height. The reserves, river beds and landscape surrounding the walkways were all weeded, treated and trimmed back. Street trees were pruned and destaked. A general rubbish cleanup and final once over and this sows ear was once again looking every part the silk purse it was meant to be.
